Before you ask us — the basics.

Is the fog safe for people, stock and equipment?
Yes. The fog is non-toxic and, on the UNIK, the fluid is authorised for food environments — which is why it suits food retail and stockrooms. It’s designed to leave minimal residue and disperses after ventilation.
What happens during a power cut?
The UNIK can run on battery only, with up to six months’ autonomy if mains power is lost entirely. Autonomy is guaranteed for at least one full 60-second shot on a unit without connected accessories.
How big an area can one unit protect?
A single UNIK cartridge delivers up to 600 m³ of commercial coverage, with a single shot reaching up to 300 m³. For larger floor areas we’d spec the C-Line or HP range, or multiple units — tell us your space and we’ll advise.
Will it work with my existing alarm?
In most cases, yes. The UNIK has three inputs (including a PIR/panic input) and three outputs to integrate with intruder and hold-up alarm systems, and is built to BS EN 50131-8:2019 as part of an alarm system.
Can I monitor it remotely?
With the optional ActiveCloud board fitted, you can monitor and activate the unit remotely through the cloud, with free access to the platform. It’s also Active Server ready for networked sites.
